Okay,
I had a P233MMx with an old board that used an AT power supply. I just bought a new motherboard, the dfi ak74-ec - and a new ATX 300W power supply (as a second trip to store).
Now, I've hooked everything up. the power supply is attached to the motherborad, when I turn the switch on the power supply a red light comes on on the motherboard - the PCI standby power LED.
Problems:
There is no mention in the manual for my motherboard of a power on jumper - and unlike the AT power supply there isn't a set of cables to attach to the power switch on the AT case.
Question:
Is there a special switch on the ATX case that I can grab at Radio Shack or something?
Do you have any idea what I can do to figure this out, short of taking it all in to where I got it... but that's gonna be such a huge pain I'd rather try it with your help
)
Thanks,
