Hello All. My company has Exchange 5.5 (We will be moving to Exchange 2003 sometime next year). We currently keep the vacation day's of each employee in SQL Server database. Is it possible for me to write an application in VB.Net to add or remove the dates to each person's calendar in Exchange? The main purpose of this is to show the person as "out of office" when someone else tries to schedule a meeting for that person.

Is this easily possible? If so, are there any good websites to point me to learn about development in Exchange? Also, when we eventually move to Exchange 2003, are the chances I will have make some kind of modifications to my VB.Net code or is it better to wait until we get the new version?

Thanks for looking at this question. I know it's basic, but I'm trying to get my feet wet without drowning in the pool!

Thank you,

Steve
