We have got a FoxPro 2.6 database that we need to amend but we haven't got a version of the FoxPro development environment. Does anyone know where I can get an installation of this?
If all you need to do in amend the table / records, then any ODBC Connection from any ODBC Complient programming language will work. Or did I miss understand what you want to do to the table? David W. Grewe

If you just need to change the tables, then you can use VFP to change the table, and the use the COPY TO .. TYPE FOX2X to make it the right version.
If you need to also change some of the application, you'll need to buy the appropriate Profession version of FPD or FPW so you can rebuild the .EXE from the project - or course this assumes you have all the source code. You may be able to buy a copy at
Remember that merely changing the structure of a FP database will not, by itself, enable your application to use the new or modified fields. It will also require program changes which will require the FP Development Environment.
If purchasing the software is not a viable option, then one of us might be able to help you out with our own systems.
Good Luck,
