Deterministic Network Enhancer

Hi,
When I install Safenet/Softremote VPN client software, it adds a deterministic network enhancer. Can anyone tell me what is the purpose of the deterministic network enhancer and can I remove it?

Its a protocol that it uses to pass through NAT from Cards, or comunicate with software. It binds to the adapters.
