I seem to remember that if you don't know the IP address of the unit you can either reboot with a serial cable and settings at 9600 or can you can also get it through feature 983?
Connect your serial cable, reboot the callpilot and open a capture file on your communication program, I use ProComm+, so that you can scroll back to get the IP address. I had to do this a few times and it works great. Good Luck.
