I have installed a NM-8AM-V2 on a cisco router. After rebooting it and type the show line command there's no asynchronous lines.
The image's name that resides on the flash memory is
c2600-i-mz-123.6c.bin

Here is the output of the show diag command

Router#sh diag 0

How can i fix this issue ?

Kind regards

I haven't taken the time to check this myself, but it's probably that your IOS doesn't support that card. I'll look into this and get back to you.

Cisco shows a NM-8AM= part number but doesn't list the V2 for the 2611XM. But the version of code that will work for the 2600 w/the card listed is IP, which is "i-mz" coded. Which means you have the right code train. However, your specific version has been deferred. They have 12.3.18(LD) - Limited Deployment version out if you want to stay with a 12.3 version of code. Or you can opt to upgrade to a 12.4 version. Your NM should be supported in those code trains. I'd suggest you upgrade first before you blame hardware.

Thanks a million

I have upgraded to the 12.4 train. I choose an IOS image with IP Voice feature and my NM was detected.

Best regards

Great, I'm glad its working for you.
