How old is the system? Older systems (3+ years old ) tend to not recognize large amounts of RAM. James Collins

Are they all 512 meg sticks? Does the BIOS detect all the RAM? James Collins

Check the actual speed of the RAM you are trying to install, we recently had the same problem and it was related to mixing DIMS with differing speeds.....you might also have to check the speed the Motherboard is expecting to see.............

Yep!!!

The bios is detecting them fine.

and motherboard does support the 133mhz sdram

What Service Pack are you using on NT?

Upgrade to at least SP5 if you are not already at this level.

I suggest SP6a unless you are using ppliations that dont support SP6. Also Edit your boot.ini and ensure there is NO /maxmem switch. If there is remove the switch. James Collins
