Desktop Watermark 1

I recently saw a laptop that had a watermark of info over-top of the desktop image. The info included computer name, IP address, Mac address, logon server, logon time, OS, version, etc. The IP address, logon server get's updated each time you log onto the computer.

I thought this to be a very useful support tool to have all this info at hand on the desktop for the clent when they call our helpdesk. But I cannot find info on how to put this info on the desktop and make it dynamic.

Can anyone give me suggestiosn on where to look to add this info to my client's desktops? Thanks in advance.

Hi there, the tool to which you are referring is called bginfo and it is available for free from sysinternals.
