Using win98 se

When I right click start, open and explorer are greyed out.
Find and scan for viruses are fine.

Download and install TweakUI 1.33 [it installs into the Control Panel] if you don't already have it. On the My Computer tab in TweakUI be sure ALL drive letters are checked. If even one drive letter is not checked it will cause your problem. Also look in C:\config.sys and delete any lastdrive= statement.
