Desktop icon text in bold? 1

All of the sudden, my desktop icon titles (the text under the icons) is in bold font...or something. What the heck?
I know all about the display options. My title bars are dark gray on the left and light gray on the right with bright green text. Oh, BTW, is there some way to change the color of the text on the Desktop Icons?

There's various freeware which will change icon text colour (and make box its in transparent so it looks better on the desktop). Its one of features of WatchCat (there are lots of others) which I use -

Hi all,

This thread does not come up when I do a keyword search on "desktop icon", "all words", and only for this forum. Can anyone out there please explain to me why this is so?
