desktop background file location? 1

I just changed the power settings (monitor sleep time) and suddenly, the pc just lost its wallpaper. In the display properties, the correct file is specified but I get the plain blue background and not the desired picture. However, the correct picture *is* displayed during system startup and also when the pc is locked, so I know the file is still there somewhere. Where can I find the file location and name? I did a registry search for wallpaper and background but couldn't find any keys.
 
The "standard" default locations:
c:\windows (for .bmp wallpapers)
C:\windows\web\wallpaper. (for .gif, .jpg wallpapers)

Now it gets tougher, as other locations obtain at times:
