When creating the page in design view, headings, text and graphics are perfectly aligned (DWeaver4), but when viewed in browser (IE5) they are in different positions. What can I do to solve the problem?

I am using a layout table, but have had the same problem when using layers in standard view.

How far off are they? Is everything shifted the same or are the blocks of text and graphics jumbled together? All men die.

make sure width and height of a box is fixed and that the text doesnt "push" the box bigger...that throws of a lot of alignment in my pages

In order to see your page in the design window as it will be in the browser you need to turn off the yellow layer anchors that DW puts in. These tend to move headings and text around in the design view.

Do this by choosing to hide all elements by pressing "Ctrl + shift + I" and you will get a proper representation of how your page will look. (This is a toggle, so you can show them again by pressing the same keys)

What I always do is drag the anchors to the very end of my page so that they don't interfere with my view. They are also in the same place then. Derren
