depreciation error Norming asset manager 5.5b SP2

We're using Accpac 5.5.

An asset was acquired on the previous month say June 2010 when we try run depreciation for it gives the following error
“Invalid input for asset”ASSET”, the book last depreciation period 2010-06 must be one period earlier than or equal to or later than acquisition period 2010-08”

That message is clear. Fix it with a database editor.

Edit the AMASST table, and fix the dates for that asset, it's not hard.
