due to ageing, I need to decommission our server acting as our dc (windows 2000 ad) add replace it with a new server acting as the new DC.

Is there a techdoc available that details the recommended steps for this process? I haven't had any success locating
a document that is specific to this situation.

Appreciate input as to "what not to do" and / or "what to be sure to do" that isn't documented, only learned from experience.

Thanks,

zaw
