Denial Event 1732

Scratching my head on this on any help appreciated.

we have a fax which is DDi extension. When we call the number and do a list trace we get the following.

All other DDi numbers work fine. The COR on the trunk, st etc is 1 which we have as

CLASS OF RESTRICTION INFORMATION

COR COR Description

0 y
1 NO BARRING / SERVICE OBSERVED

I have removed added the station to no avail, I was desperate!

Any pointers appreciated.

What is the COR on the FAX machine? Is it the same as other stations that have DDI?

Yes same COR.

Page 3 on COR form is all yes except 99

page 4 is all y except 101
Page 5-22 is all y

On the COR form, the Calling Party Restriction and Called Party Restriction should both be 'none'. At the bottom of page 1 the Group Controlled Restriction should be 'inactive'.

Do 'status station 1871'. See if there are any User Controlled Restrictions active.

This is the only station that can't be called from external.

Thanks to all for guidance...In the end the tru group 28 was in TN28 but the fax was in TN 8 (TN 28 wasn't configured!!) and as we are all IP phones they weren't affected.

This has just been reported but must have been like that since day.

Gotta trust the users info!!
