Hello all,

I have a Win2k Server running Active Directory which I would like to downgrade from a PDC. The reason for this is that we are going for Win2k3 Advanced Server and that will be our PDC.

Now, I need to print out a list that details all users and groups currently on the Win2k PDC. Can anybody please tell me how to do this? I'm on the hunt for a vbscript that will do it for me but no such luck yet.

All I'm after is a way of saving all the users (with their passwords maybe) and groups into a text file.

Any help would be very much appreciated

Thanks in advance

- There isn't a PDC in Windows 2000 (Just a PDC emulator)

- To downgrade the domain, you can type DCPROMO in a run command and follow the wizard (This will make the server a non-domain controller)

But what you should probably do, is build your new Windows 2003 domain controller. Then migrate the users, groups, printers, data, etc to the new domain controller.

The MS utility ADMT can help you migrate the data.
