I have an NT4 server that I am finally ready to remove from my network. All of the other servers are Win2K and Active Directory is deployed and running fine. I need to know the proper method for demoting the NT4 server from its BDC role and moving the other servers to Native mode.

I know that just turning the NT4 server off is a bad idea, so please offer a procedure for getting rid of it "by the book".

Thanks in advance for your help.
