Does anyone have any experience with producing demo's of their databases, that run out of access?

I.e. ways in which access can work in order to show a working demo of the database? Thank you for your help already.

I always split my dBs into a frontend and backend. This allows me to "point" a copy of the frontend to any similarly-structured backend, using the linked table manager. I usually make one backend with "programmer data," some of it pretty silly, to:

1 - make sure that no one accidentally gets into the "playground" backend and mistakes it for the real data.

2 (more important) - to give people a place and permission to "play" with the database without the threat of corrupting the real data. This is especially important for people that have no experience at all, or who have been keeping a "database" in Excel (they are usually extremely gun shy, since Excel offers no protection whatsoever for their data.)

Or did I completely misunderstand your question?
