Not sure if anyone else is still looking for an application that will allow them to gather SMDR data from an IPO running R6. I was struggling with finding a replacement for delta server when I came across this...

Advanced TCP IP Data Logger 3.6.0 B714

Seems to work well, and is free... Google will take you to the download if interested.

While I agree that it's good stuff - we've used on a couple of projects - I don't agree that it's free. There is a trial for 30 days then it requires registration (and payment) to run...

ohhhh... Guess I missed that... Thanks for the heads up.

I use Kiwi Syslog server from Solarwinds (it's free for basic purposes). You have to setup the port as 1919 in the IPO. Then you tell the syslog server to receive on port 1919 and set it for ASCII.

This works GREAT! You can have it roll over the logs at a predetermined interval and if you want to pay (it's fairly cheap), it will log to a SQL server. By default, it writes out to a TXT file.

I use it all the time.
