I have a query about which any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

We have a customer who has recently had CCC V5 installed and they use a IP Office 412 with 5610 IP Phones. This all works fine.

However in Delta Server under the Event Viewer window I get an unusual message for two users. The entry says "has no terminal pair". This event always happens when the system is rebooted or the config is merged. The state of each user seems to make no difference for example last time I merged the config and checked one user was 'IDLE' and the other was 'LOGGED_OFF' and I still got the messages.

I have scoured the documentation and resources for CCC and Delta Server but can find no nomention of this message. Does anyone know what this means? Is it anything to worry about?

Many thanks

If you have an extension id without an number against you will get this error message.

I checked this and all of the extension ID's have a number against them. However I did notice that on Delta Server under the Agents tab there is no 'location' next to these two users. Can't workout how you set this or make the system pick it up.

Any ideas?

No terminal pair means that you have a user that is not allocated to a port on the system meaning a Phantom extension. Sometimes i do that just to create a mailbox without a phone.
