My Dell Server, running Windows 2000, is used for Nortel Symposium Web Client (a telecommunications application), It shows drive C: running out of disk space. I can't even open the event log. Files with the extention".CTM" started being created in C:\winnt\temp folder on 10-12-05. They are 6.1 meg each and 12 of them are created each day and so they are filling up the C: drive. I can move the files off the C: drive to temporaraly clear the problem, but what is causing these file to be created automatically? Here is an example file name: "Cel2e1384b8_1704_848.ctm".
Are these files logs that a Windows process started on it's own?
Thanks in advance.
