As long as the PC conforms to a certain level capable of running XP
ie: 500mhz/256mb ram/with a HDD big enough ie:6.4gig plus
Then you just have to find the drivers that XP leaves out, usually modem/sound maybe network
In some cases you might find hardware that isn't XP compatible, you may be forced to replace a modem or similar.
Also ocationally motherboard bios has to be updated to work correctly, I am reminded recently of having to flash a lot of SIS chipset based mainboards to work correctly with service pack 2 (XP)
