Dell modem drivers on non dell machine

In exactly the same way as you would install any other driver! Although, are you sure it's the correct driver? ARe the operating systems the same?
Assuming they are, right click 'my computer' on your desktop, select properties and then device manager. Find your modem in the list, right click select properties and then driver details, update driver. Then follow the prompts to get the driver off your cd..
