The Windows clock/time on this laptop appears to work fine as long at the end-user is logged into our company's domain. However, when the end-user uses the laptop as a stand-alone (from home, logged into Windows and not into our company's domain) the Windows time either doesn't change or if she corrects it, it only stays fixed for a short period of time and then issue re-occurs (she also sees the issue in Outlook, which throws her calendar off because the time is off/wrong in Windows).

I plan to check to see if her device has the current BIOS but I wonder if it's the CMOS battery that needs replacing.
Also, is there anything else in Windows that may need to be investigated?

Thanks in advance for your assistance

We would need to know what occurs between the time she fixes it and the point at which it is off again. Does she shutdown the laptop? Is it left on?

If it doesn't lose time until the laptop is powered off, then it is likely the CMOS battery. If it's losing time while powered on, then that could be a lot of things.
