I have a Dell Inspiron 4000 Laptop with Win2k.
The touchpad cursor sporadically moves to the top right of the screen thus rendering the laptop un-usable.
An external mouse does not solve the problem.
This sometimes happens when I cut and paste using CTRL C&V.
I have tried service packing win2k, the latest and greatest touchpad drivers from the Dell website and also the Synoptics site.
Dell's response was to re-build.
I will have to do this but has anyone seen this before ?
