I am having trouble locating and loading a suitable driver for this card. It was originally made by adaptec (as a 2610) and branded Dell for use in their poweredge servers and some hi-end precision desktops. I have installed the card in a machine (Not a Dell machine) and added 6 x 250gb SATA drives in a raid 5 configuration. Everything appears OK, except i cannot get windows to accept any of the drivers i have downloaded for it. I keep getting the message that "The specified location does not contain information about your hardware" - the drivers are from Dell's website and are windows XP drivers. I've been looking for other drivers (Adaptec website is not helpful as this card was never sold by anybody except Dell) but not found anything yet. Any help gratefully received.

Apologies for having troubled you - i just realised i also had an HPT370 controller integrated on the motherboard and i was trying to load the Dell drivers onto that!
