dell 8200 / beeping on boot / win xp not loading

hi all
i just got this pc from friend , dell dimension 8200 / 1.8GHZ , win xp , etc, - ts not booting up. light &all comes on , this guy was changing out the sound card , testing other cards in it & finally put back original card & now it wont boot & it is beeping on startup ?!
i know this is an awesome pc , but i have yet to get it going & it`ll be 30 days until ownership is transfered thus getting dell to come out & look at it. so if anyone has any idea , please let me know what i can do , change cards out , refresh bios, etc.
o , & nothing shows on monitor , black.

How many beeps are there? Go to this website and it will point you in the right direction to troubleshoot according to how many beeps you are hearing.
