Deleting Mailbox

I am running into a problem deleting a mailbox from our exchange 5.5 server running on Windows NT 4.0 Server. I have tried to delete the mailbox using the Microsoft Exchange Administrator program but keep getting the following error message...

An internal processing error has occurred. Try restarting the Microsoft Exchange Administrator program or the Microsoft Exchange Server computer, or both.

I have done both, first restarted the program and when that didnt work, I rebooted the server. Is there another way I can delete this users mailbox? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

What was the resolution?

If anyone calls and says "I know a little something about computers" just tell them to reformat it.
