Deleting duplicate emails from Outlook

Sometimes when downloading big volumes of emails, the process did not go well to the end and messages not getting deleted from the server. Next time I connect to the server the messages getting downloaded second time. This way I have a lot of duplicate and triplicate emails in my Outlook folders. Is there a way to automatically delete dupes from the Outlook 2000?
