I have a printer that I can't seem to be able to delete in my printers folder. I can't even make a second copy of it so that I can point it to a different port. The workstation appears to go through all the right procedures but nothing happens.
Will I have to go playing in the registry to sort this or is there an easier way?
Any help would be welcomed.

You've obviously tried to delete it in START SETTINGS PRINTERS...

IS there an entry for it in your Add Remove Programs....? If so, uninstall the drivers from there and see if that works.

Thanks Kjonnnn,
unfortunately I've already tried your suggestions.
This printer was originally a network printer running off a printserver and I attached it to the LPT port when we were having some problems and pointed the port to LPT1 in the printer properties. Now the original network port does not appear in the printers properties anymore so I can't even change it back that way.
I'm stumped.
