I have a field that is initaiised blank. The user can then select one of three options from the drop down list attached to this field.

How do you set this field back to blank? i.e If the user accidentaly select one of the options and wants to set the field back to blank.

It is possible to do this by deleting the contents of that fiels on the worksheet view but how is it done on a form view.

Two ways:

1. Insert a fourth item at the top of the list and enter a space character.

2. Provide a button that runs a macro to null the field. Use the Set command to set the field to '' where '' are two apostrophes, no space in between.
