Running Windows 2000 Professional.

Added a mailbox to: Tools | Services | Microsoft Exchange Server | Properties | Advanced | Mailboxes.

Mailbox got deleted whilst my outlook was open. Now the mailbox is no longer in my Mailboxes box in the Advanced tab, but still shows up in the Folder list.

How do I get it out? I am assuming it is in the registry or some config file? Thanks.

Delete and recreate your profile.

If anyone calls and says "I know a little something about computers" just tell them to reformat it.

Yeah, I tried that, but it is still there. I will try to reboot to see if that is it. Thanks.

The registry key is somewhere like HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\profilename but the only thing I have ever had this problem with was .pst but it should not be very different. Hope this helps

that worked, thanks!

What worked the reboot or the registry alteration? Just so I know.

oh, sorry, the registry whack did it :) i did not have to reboot. I just deleted every key with my name and the mailbox i wanted to go away. Then I deleted the profiles when right clicking on the outlook icon on the desktop as well and started from scratch. Then I noticed the email saying a reply had been posted ;D
