One of our operators deleted a client node from our TSM. Now I need to restore data that belonged to that node but even if I re-create the node, I can't see the backed-up files that were there. Is there any way out of this predicament or did we just loose all our backups for that node ??

Deleted client node, any way to restore ??

Do you have a backup of your TSM database from before the mishap? As long as reclamation hasn't run and gotten rid of the data on the data tapes, you can always load an older TSM DB backup and restore the node in question. Of course you might not want to do that to you production TSM server.
