Hi,

A while back I set something to delete the swap file everytime I shut down the PC.

As this is slooooooooow it is now very annoying. HOWEVER I cant remember where or what I did.

Can someone please remind me.........

I really hate this hack. Leave the swap file alone.

Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
Change the data value of the ClearPageFileAtShutdown value in the following registry key to a value of 0: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SessionManager\Memory Management
If the value does not exist (unlikely), add the following value:
Value Name: ClearPageFileAtShutdown Value Type: REG_DWORD Value: 0
This change does not take effect until you restart the computer.
