I'm using Mac Quark 4.11. I work on long documents so utilize style sheets in Quark. I import text from Word where I have applied tags with corresponding style names to the style I have already set up in a Quark template.
As long as the style name in Word is identical to the style name in Quark, once the text is imported, I can then make any and all adjustments in the style palette in Quark.
BUT if I import the text, and the style name is not yet in my Quark palette, the style name is added but is grayed out (so I can't change it) and the option to delete the style is also grayed out.
Not a major problem, but doesn't allow me to clean up the style palette.
Is there any way around this?
TIA
