Hello all,

Ok here is the question is there a script or a program that will go through a list of printers check the queues and delete only one print job, if it has an error trying to print? Any help would be great

Hunnicutt,

When I helped manage a helpdesk that was responsible for over 1600+ users, that functionality you mentioned would of been the best. But the problem that I encountered was the person who sent the print job to the printer had the only rights to delete the job. Windows isn't too freindly in a peer to peer enviroment. In a peer to peer network, no one has the "GOD RIGHTS" to perform the deletion.

If you are running Windows XXX server and have setup printer que's on the server. That utilty is under the administrative services. Same thing with Novell, the Admin has print server tools as well.
