Hello everyone,

Really quck and simple question (I hope).

I want to assign a user (User A) delegation to someone elses mailbox (User B). When I do this either through ADU+C, or through the delegation options in Outlook - User A can only see the inbox of User B's mailbox. I want User A to be able to see all subfolders of the inbox, and sent items etc.

I know this can be done on a subfolder by subfolder basis by giving the necc permissions - but if there are 100 subfolders I'll be at it all day!

Anyone know a work around?

Go to ADUC
Open properties of User B
Exchange Advanced tab
Mailbox rights button
Add user A, give them allow for everything except associated user account

On user A's outlook, (assuming Outlook 2003 here, Outlook 2000 is broadly similar)

In the left hand pane, Right Click Mailbox - User A
Properties
Advanced button
Advanced tab
Add button : Add User B's mailbox
Apply etc and Ok out

User B's mailbox will now appear on the LH pane of User A's outlook, with access to subfolders, sent etc etc

Great!

I'm sure I had tried that and it didn't work - but I must have been dreaming cos it works now :)

Cheers Paul
