Hi,

As a redundancy for our exchange server I have signed up for a mail queuing system where the mails are sent to another server if ours goes down.

And last weekend it went down for 3 days. When the server came back online I contacted the remote server company to check if the mail was on their server, which it was and it had been sent. This was about the same time the server came back on.

But I still have not received the emails that were stored on the remote server? Is there settings that I can check to see if the server block delayed emails?

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Thanks.

Only if you were already doing logging on SMTP or message tracking. They're not on (to any useful degree) by default because they get pretty busy so it's a troubleshooting thing.

There is tracking enabled and I cannot find any of the emails forwarded to us on the server.

So does that mean it was rejected?

Rejected or dropped.
Are you sure they were actually received in the first place? do the sending server have any way of saying whether or not they got a sucessfull send?
