Definity G3V8i to PRI

The Definity G3V8i that my company has is currently on supertrunk. I am trying to move it to PRI and have it CallerID. Is our system capable of having a PRI?
 
you can use command "display system custom" find the item "ISDN-PRI" if this item is "y" your system that can use ISDN-PRI .

Thanks for the command. By looking at the attached info, it looks like I am able to do PRI? Using the two TN767 cards in the system, I am able to do this?

And if I have PRI, I am able to do a 10-digit caller ID? Let me know if this question needs to be in a new thread.

You do NOT have ISDN-PRI enabled. Given the age of the switch, I don't think that you can add the feature without doing a PBX upgrade ($$$$).

So even though there is an option to say "yes" on the ISDN-PRI, I am still won't be able to do PRI?
 
ISDN-BRI is 'y'. ISDN-PRI is 'n'.

It means that the option for PRI cannot be turned on, and the BRI turned off?
 
I don't believe that Avaya (or a reputable Business Partner) will sell you the ISDN-PRI activation due to the age of the software on your PBX. If you do find someone that can activate it, don't be surprised by the cost ($$$$).

Wellco, I do need help with this. If the feature is offered, I should be able to do PRI? What are the things I should look for in order to have a PRI? Thank you.
 
you should ask avaya partner to request to do , if not avaya partner , avaya only say this version not support ,need upgrade the system , and then Board TN767 is not support for ISDN-PRI , you should using TN464 or TN2464.
 
michael let me know how to get ahold of you and we can discuss off forum...email, phone..etc; instead on trying to write it all out on the forum...but you have all the equipment you need...also your TN767's will work fine on an R8...
