definity g3si -- busy indicator

on a 6424d+ I have been asked to place a busy indicator for a station---this is the 5th person she monitors---she says she used to get message on her display when the user received calls or went off hook. Any ideas of where these message may have come from?

Busy indicators are just buttons that light up when a phone is in use. A busy indicator does not offer any type of "on screen" message that im aware of. However a bridged appearnce will let you know when the person is on the phone and you can also seen on your display the number of the person calling the bridged phone.

Thanks--I thought maybe I was not seeing the whole picture--but I think youjust made it come into focus---she did have a bridged appearance of two of the 5 and she did say "I used to see messages on my display........" Thanks again
