If you drag a field from the field list onto a form, Access will generate a data control and a label control. I've obviously done something because my form is defaulting to big labels with large fonts. This is a fag because I can copy the required style from another control but that still leaves the box the wrong size so I've got to carefully re-size it manually each time.

What options have you got for controlling this?

Hi!

To change the defaults of new controls, open the properties dialog, then select the Add Label button on the toolbox. The properties dialog now displays the Default Label properties. Change the font size, and it should be OK.

There's also a "Set Control Defaults" on the format menu on my version.
