Anyone know how to change he default save folder in outlook from that OLK one?

HKEY_CU\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Outlook\Security
Modify the path for the value OutlookSecureTempFolder

(The registry key path may slightly vary if you are on Office XP as this is the path for OL2000)

We go through an exchange server running exchange 5.5. Outlook 2000 is the client software but the PCs in question both run Win98

Can anyone help with this it is drivingme mad! There must be a way of changing the default save folder when you open an email?
By the way we go through an exchange server and I dont know if that makes any difference to this?

For Windows 98 the key is HKEYCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\UserShellFolders and then change the value for PERSONAL should be the desired path.

You will have to restart Outlook after the registry change.
