Does anyone know the command to delete a default route on a cisco 3550? I ahve two default routes and need to remove one of them.

Many thanks in advance

Alex

Not worked on this model but is usually:-

enable
config t
no ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 x.x.x.x

(Where x.x.x.x is the address the route is forwarding packets to.)

Hope this helps

Thanks, this has done it but how do you save the changes?

Once you have cleared the default route using the above mentioned command, the effect is immediate. You can then use the "copy run start" command to save your new config for the next reboot.
