I currently have a form that includes a subform showing data related to the client on the main form. I have added a button on the main form for data entry. However, I would like the information that shows up in the data entry form to default to a particular record in my tables. How do I go about this? I am not very well versed in Visual Basic coding, so a relatively simple solution would be wonderful. Thanks very much.

Half-answer: if you don't think those values will change very often, the easiest way to get default values on your subform is to set the default values for the table itself.

Open up the table in design view, and set the "Default Value" option for each field you have in mind.

Thank you. I will give it a try and see what happens.
