I'm using a report form to send a BMP file to a Receipt Printer, via Windows drivers. Problem I have is that the BMP file is about 4 inches square. This prints but a large amount of blank paper is fed through at the end. This results in about A4 height size being fed through the printer.

I'm not sure if this is a printer issue or an issue with the report. Is there a way to change the default size of the height of the report? Like I said I want the height to be always 4 inches in hieght

Thanks

If the printer driver permits, create a custom size. And when you run your report set your report to use that custom size.

Mike thanks for your advise. However I would I set my report to use this custom size. Also do you mean check the setting in the Windows Printer setup itself?

To almost garantee yourself success in this, set your default printer (through windows), to this printer, and also set the custom size, and modify the report and resave it, the information to the "currently used" printer will save itself in the report Expr field.
