default email client 1

guys,

I have a small problem, I have a file (any file can be an example) and I can right click > send to > mail recipient" and outlook will load...

well i am not using outlook, i am using outlook express, here is my problem, even in internet options > programs, i cannot specifiy outlook express as the default handler for email messages, am i missing something?

Actually, open Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options, Programs tab, choose the correct default mail client.

guys, the above method:

internet explorer > tools > options > programs and choosing outlook express does not work, because it is not listed in the drop down box... is it possibly something that is configured by the registry??

Try this command in the Run dialog, then check your internet options. Note - the quotes are required.

"C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\MSIMN.EXE" /REG
