I have peachtree loaded on my pc. The data is on the network. Whenever I start the program it wants to look in the c: drive to find the company to select. The actual data is in F:

How do I set the program up to point to f: when looking for company to select.

Thanks

go to the run command.

Type pcw90.ini (for peachtree 9.0 (2002) or pcw80.ini for peachtree 2000. When it opens, scroll down a bit and you'll see what I think is called the default data path or some such thing. Edit w/ the path you want and save the changes.

To clarify, your default patch would change from C:\peachw (more than likely what it is currently, to f:\. Make sense?
