All... I'll try be as clear as possible here ;-)
I'm trying to find some type of reference on default commands that have either been added or removed between different versions of IOS.
Ie. if "ip http-server" was on by default and a show run did not pick this up. At what version was it either off by default if anything. Or at what point did "no ip http-server" in the config come as default on the IOS.
Also, if "ip http-server" is off on newer versions of IOS would this appear as "no ip http-server" in the config or would it just not appear in the config.
The trouble is this for me, if on older versions, not seeing either "no ip http-server" or not seeing "ip http-server" then I can safely assume that this service is running on my router. Yes? If so .. on newer versions where did it change if it did change?
I'm trying to establish which of my routers have things like "udp-small-servers" etc enabled or disabled on them. So if I can get a list of when/if commands were swopped from enabled or disabled by default against IOS version then I should be able to tie one thing with the other.
Sheez .. even I'm having difficutly understanding what I've written. Best of luck on helping me.
Cheers ..T
