DECT hot spot

I need to know more about DECT hot spots. According to the manuals it is when too many DECT base stations are installed in one area. Such a case do we have at one site, but I need to know the symptoms of a DECT hot spot: What do the customer experience and feel using the DECT handset in an area with "battling" DECT base stations?
Any hints welcome.
