Decode Function

Hi,

Iam having this selection cretiria to my object..It is giving the error as a not a single group group function..The syntax is :
decode(@Select(Score Card\Cfo Approval Ind),'Y',@Select(Score Card\sumofactuals),0)
sumofactuals is a measure object.
I know that I have to give cfo_approval_ind in the group by function, but in the designer how I can give group by function?need your comments.

You could remove the datebase SUM() in the object sumofactuals and use the Aggregation property of BO to do the summing.

This would mean more rows returned by the database, but does allow you to get teh above to work.

Don't do what sh4kil recommends in this case. You'll be unhappy.

Stop using @select in your decode and use the real "actuals" column.

Then put a sum around your whole decode statement.
